Dear Friends, On Wednesday, September 17, all parish churches in the Archdioceses will be open for confessions from 5 to 6:30 pm. We have confessions in the Spring and Fall for the religious education students but this is the time to remind adult parishioners of going to confession as regularly as possible. It is also available weekly 45 minutes before Saturday 4:30 pm mass in church or by appointment in the rectory office. I am available to offer spiritual advice as you need it. I look forward to going to our priests' convocation this week, pray for us to be renewed in knowledge and spirit. Yours in Christ, Fr. Lance

Dear Friends:
I am happy to announce that I will begin a weekly Adult Prayer and Study group at St. Michael on Wednesday mornings at 9 am in the rectory. We will begin with an 8 session Ascension Press gospel video series entitled Luke: The Story of Salvation Fulfilled. The sessions will be about 90 minutes long. We will begin on September 24 but will skip the weeks of the Second Harvest food distribution on Oct. 15 and Nov. 19. Terry and Anita Matherne's Tuesday 6 pm evening prayer group will also begin this series then so you can attend morning or evening makeup sessions if you have a conflict for a session or two. Please register if you plan to attend. There are personal workbooks available to purchase from the publisher for about $30. I look forward to leading this group and growing in knowledge and love for Jesus.
Sincerely, Fr. Lance
After further discussion, the monthly Rosary and Adoration will be held on Saturday, September 13th at 9 AM. The Eucharistic Minister meeting will be held immediately following the Rosary and Adoration.
