St. Michael the Archangel will hold its Inaugural Catfish Rodeo on Saturday, January 24, 2026. A registration event will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 in the Church hall from 12 noon to 6 PM. Anyone wishing to make a monetary donation for the rodeo can place it in the collection in an enclosed envelope labeled

Fr. Lance will lead a bible study and prayer group on the Book of Acts in the Rectory at 9:00 AM Wednesday mornings beginning Jan. 28th. The program suggests daily readings that cover the book in 3 weeks. We will have three meetings, Jan. 28, Feb. 4 and Feb. 11, with videos and discussion. All are welcome. Let the office know if you're coming so Fr. Lance can get a study guide for you.
For your convenience, we now have a rectory drop box located on the gate to the rectory/office. You may drop off information, envelopes, etc. in the box.
Sanctuary flowers are offered to enhance our liturgical celebrations by parishioners who would like to remember a loved one or in thanksgiving for people and events in their lives. Flower memorials can be one-time only recognition or long-term requests. Memorials will be printed in the Sunday Bulletin. Flower choice and colors will be at the discretion of the Church and florist due to liturgical color and season. The approximate cost of ann arrangement is $120. To schedule a dedication, contact the parish office or Terry Matherne.

On January 25, 2026 following the 10:30 AM the mass, we will process to the Memorial of the Unborn located by the Religious Education Building to place flowers and pray. Afterwards, we’ll meet in the Parish Hall for fellowship social with King Cake, coffee and milk
As announced earlier, we will have our first St. Michael the Archangel Catfish Rodeo event on Saturday, Jan 24th, here at the church grounds. Besides the weighing in of the fish and awards, we will have good food to buy and a band for entertainment. We will need many volunteers on that day for sales, set-up, clean up, etc. as well as donations of desserts, silent auction items, and sponsorships for prizes, etc. Please help in any way you can: call the office to let us know what you can do or sign up in the rear of the church and/or make a donation (place it in the collection in an enclosed envelope labeled CATFISH RODEO).
